How To Make Slow Cooker Peanut Clusters

These peanut clusters are SO simple and easy to make, they are one of our favorite candies to make at Christmas, or any time of year!

While all you need to do is drop them in a crock pot and let it do it's thing, there is an order that is important to pay attention to when adding the ingredients that will help your candy turn out solid, every time.

  • Layer ingredients in a precise order: peanuts, chocolate, peanut butter chips, semi sweet chips, vanilla bark.
  • Close the lid and let the chocolate and candy melt for two hours.
  • Stir well.
  • Scoop candy onto wax paper. We like to place on a baking sheet, so we can pop into the fridge to chill to set quickly.

Kitchen notes

This slow cooker candy couldn't be more simple – but there are a couple tips we've found to make it solid, every time:

  • follow the process we laid out in the ingredients to prevent burning – layer the ingredients in order!
  • If microwaving, microwave in 45 second bursts, stirring vigorously in between, and do not microwave until completely melted. Microwave until chocolate and candy is 80% melted, stir to melt the rest.
  • Candy sets QUICKLY if you are not in a hot environment, so work quick to scoop and set on parchment or wax paper.
  • Setting in refrigerator isn't needed, but can be used to set extra quickly if needed.
  • Add sprinkles immediately if desired, before candy sets.
