How to Make Baked Spicy and Sweet Chicken Wings
First assemble the following ingredients:
- Chicken wings (1 lb) – Juicy and tender, these wings form the solid base for absorbing bold, spicy-sweet flavors.
- Sweet chili paste (2 tbsp) – Adds a punch of heat balanced with sticky, caramelized sweetness.
- Garlic powder (1 tbsp) – Infuses the wings with a deep, savory warmth that complements the chili's kick.
- Soy sauce (½ cup) – Brings a rich umami depth and saltiness that ties all the flavors together.
Use this Method:
Prep. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. On a baking sheet with a cookie cooling rack over it, arrange wings so they aren't directly touching.
